Group Term Life Insurance Benefit

Group Term Life Insurance is a highly effective way for Benefits USA members to help protect their loved ones. This coverage, which is issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential), offers an affordable means for members to provide valuable financial help for their families.

The Group Term Life insurance benefit is available in select memberships, with coverage amounts of $10,000, $15,000, or $20,000.

Membership with Group Term Life Benefits

If you already have life insurance, obtaining coverage through the Benefits USA association membership is an easy way to supplement your existing life insurance and continue coverage at end of employment.

Coverage Begins: 1st of the month after enrollment.

Coverage Ends: Coverage ends the date group contract or plan is canceled, date the member is no longer a member of a covered class, date covered class is no longer covered, last day of period member made required contributions, or last day of active membership.

The above coverage apply to those under 65, at age 65 to 69 Value is reduced by 35% of original face value(of age 64 amount) and at age 70 to 79 Value is reduced to 50% of original face value(of age 64 amount). Coverage ends at age 80.*

ASSISTANCE FOR BENEFICIARIES: Prudential provides members and their families with help during the very difficult period that follows the death of a loved one. The Beneficiary Resources offers access to emotional support as well as guidance on how to plan a funeral or file a death benefit claim.**
